Take part in the Sue Ryder
Peterborough Midnight Walk

Ladies, it’s time to dig out your trainers and prepare yourself for a night out with a difference!

This year’s women-only walk will take place on Saturday 30 April, starting at the stroke of Midnight. It’s a 6 or 10 mile route around the streets of Peterborough, so you can choose which suits you best. Entry is £15 and you will receive a t-shirt, sponsor form and special Midnight Walk goodies. There will be refreshments along the way and a well deserved breakfast at the finish line.

Why the money you raise is so important
The Peterborough Midnight Walk is one of the biggest fundraising events for Sue Ryder – Thorpe Hall Hospice, raising £250,000 over the last few years. We provide compassionate care and support to people with cancer, multiple sclersis and Parkinson’s disease in Peterborough and surrounding areas, and we need to raise £1 million each year locally so that our specialist doctors and nurses can continue to help people living with serious illnesses.

The cost of a nurse for a day is £120 so by raising this, or as much as you can, you can rest assured that your money will help us continue to provide high quality care to people locally.

A message from Sally Cooke, Ward Sister at Thorpe Hall Hospice
Thorpe Hall Hospice is such a special place to work. It is a privilege to be part of the team that provides a very special care to people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, and many other illnesses. With the continuing help of the community, we are able to provide not only medical care, but also emotional and spiritual support for patients and their families at a difficult time in their lives.

We would love to see you there on the night, so sign up now by clicking here to avoid disappointment.
